Career Services is an important part of any college service. At Anthem College Online, we deliver Career Services the same way we deliver classes—on your schedule and presented by dedicated professionals.
Anthem College Online provides many of the services you would expect from a college career services office:
- Assistance with developing resumes and cover letters
- Job-seeking assistance, including identifying local volunteer opportunities that match students’ career goals
- Interview training and preparation
- Networking assistance
The difference lies in how these services are presented. This is not reading an e-book or sitting through a video. Like our classes, it is an interactive process between students and Career Services professionals. Most students start working with Career Services six months before they graduate, but they can begin this as soon as they complete their first 90 days of classes.
- We use InterviewStream video software for interview training and practice. InterviewStream is a Webby Award-honored technology that provides video interview solutions to employers, college career centers, and workforce investment boards.
- We supply each student with a personalized Graduate Packet—an attractive linen folder that holds their resumes, business cards we help them create, and thank-you notes.
- We provide key mentoring services that covers professional development, communication and interpersonal skills, and business etiquette.
- We cold-call employers local to each student to investigate their hiring needs and build up a network of employer contacts.
Career Services remain available to alumni for as long as they seek employment in a field related to their Anthem College Online degree.
